Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
Position Overview
NBCUniversal is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of 360 Launch & Campaign Design to lead the creative development and execution of holistic marketing campaigns for our Series, Specials, and Late Night programming. This role is responsible for crafting breakthrough, multi-platform campaigns that captivate audiences, elevate our brands, and drive cultural relevance across the entertainment landscape.
The VP will work in close partnership with the Vice President of 360 Brand and Strategic Campaigns ensuring strategic alignment, creative consistency, and cross-team collaboration across all major initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Lead the end-to-end development of 360 campaigns for scripted and unscripted series, live specials, and late-night programming from concept through launch and sustain.
- Creative Leadership: Oversee the visual direction of campaigns, ensuring each execution reflects the tone, voice, and identity of the show while aligning with broader brand strategy.
- Platform Integration: Design campaigns that seamlessly span broadcast, streaming, digital, social, experiential, and out-of-home, with a deep understanding of platform-specific creative nuances.
- Talent & Show Collaboration: Partner closely with showrunners, producers, talent, and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are authentic, collaborative, and strategically aligned.
- Cultural Relevance & Innovation: Infuse campaigns with bold creative thinking, cultural insight, and trend-forward design to ensure our content breaks through and resonates with diverse audiences.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of creatives, designers, and producers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that champions innovation and excellence.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with Media & Planning, Platform, and Consumer Insights to evaluate campaign impact and apply learnings to future initiative
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in creative marketing, brand design, or campaign development, ideally within entertainment or media.
- Proven success launching and sustaining campaigns for series, specials, or late-night programming.
- Strong creative vision and storytelling ability, with a portfolio that demonstrates cross-platform excellence.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams and collaborating with talent and production.
- Deep understanding of audience behavior across linear, digital, and social platforms.
- Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and design innovation.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience working directly with talent and show production teams.
- Familiarity with entertainment marketing cycles, from upfronts and premieres to seasonal sustain and finale moments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
