Consultant - UI/ UX Designer

Position Overview: KPMG is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer specializing in Figma to join our dynamic team. As a Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing user experience across a wide range of digital products and services. You will leverage your expertise in Figma and other design tools to create intuitive, user-centered designs that meet the strategic objectives of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions, making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Use Figma to its fullest capabilities to create dynamic prototypes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers, to ensure a cohesive visual language and user experience across all digital touchpoints.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to gain insight, validate concepts, and make informed design decisions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on UI/UX best practices and trends, providing guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
• Present and defend your design decisions to internal and external stakeholders, articulating and rationalizing your creative vision based on user needs and business goals.
• Participate in client workshops and presentations, effectively communicating the value of design thinking and user-centered design principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Sciences, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of UI/UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in Figma and other design tools.
• Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools, with an emphasis on Figma.
• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and an understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and negotiate design decisions.
• Prior consulting experience or experience working in a professional services environment is preferred.
