We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a dynamic On-Site Technical Customer Support Representative within our Sales capability. This position reports to the Director of Sales, MPS, RV and will work in Elkhart, IN.
As the On-Site Technical Customer Support Representative on our Sales team, you will be the primary technical liaison in Elkhart, ensuring seamless integration of electrical products with RV OEMs. This role drives product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction by providing technical support, training, and system design expertise while fostering strong relationships with OEMs and internal teams.
General Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical support representative in Elkhart, collaborating with RV OEMs to address issues and support product integration.
- Perform audits with RV OEMs, maintaining up-to-date audit sheets to ensure quality control and compliance.
- Assist RV OEMs with the installation of new products to ensure proper setup and functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to develop new products and provide system design recommendations (e.g., fusing, wire gauge) for full system sales.
- Train production line staff, RV technicians, dealers, and in-house inspectors on new products, code compliance, and practical applications.
- Review and update product manuals to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity for end-users.
- Represent the company on the RVIA voting committee, staying informed on RV manufacturing codes and compliance (RVIA, ANSI, NEC, UL).
- Provide technical insights to enhance OEM electrical systems, improving product value and supporting sales efforts

Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in a fast paced, high-volume workplace as well as having acquired the following qualifications and experiences.
- Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, electrical systems, or a related field (college-level education suggested as a minimum).
- Minimum of 3+ years in the Elkhart RV industry, with a focus on electrical components; 5+ years preferred.
- Strong understanding of RV OEM operations and processes, with prior experience considered a significant asset.
- Expertise in testing, troubleshooting, wiring, and designing electrical systems for RVs.
- Familiarity with RVIA, ANSI, NEC, and UL standards for RV manufacturing compliance.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, engineers, and technicians to facilitate collaboration and training.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, focusing on improving product quality and eliminating waste.
