Spot Welder Operator

Description

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Spot Welder Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll set up and operate spot weld machines to join metal parts and components, ensuring quality and safety every step of the way.

What You’Ll Do:

• Operate single and multi-head spot welders
• Set up equipment according to specifications
• Perform weld tests and inspect weld quality
• Clean welding tips and complete coupon tests after tip changes
• Read and follow work instructions and drawings
• Maintain accurate paperwork and data entry
• Keep your work area clean and tools in good condition
• Follow all safety and ISO procedures
• Support other departments as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read drawings, measure accurately, and follow instructions
• Welding test qualification (required)
• Vocational welding training (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work first or second shift, plus overtime/weekends as needed
