Description
We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Site Property Manager to oversee multiple properties and support our onsite teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of California property management laws, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Travel between sites is required.
- Location: Edgemar Ave., Los Angeles, CA
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Reports To: Regional Property Supervisor
- Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00/hour + monthly gas allowance
- Housing Benefit: Discounted 1-Bedroom Unit
Key Responsibilities
- Attend weekly L10 meetings and document minutes
- Ensure property deadlines are met and compliance is maintained
- Oversee deposit accounting and ensure timely check disbursement (within 21 days per CA law)
- Conduct quarterly file audits to ensure adherence to company standards
- Resolve resident relations and explain ledgers as needed
- Perform ledger audits and serve routine notices
- Manage property maintenance and special projects
- Maintain accurate resident records in Yardi
- Inspect properties for maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping standards
- Conduct market-ready inspections of vacant units
- Perform leasing duties, including pre-leasing when assigned
- Implement corrective programs and conduct property inspections
- Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets
- Review and approve expenditures within budget guidelines
- Act as liaison between ownership and company when needed
- Serve as interim property manager when vacancies arise
- Travel regularly for site audits (approx. 75% onsite presence required)
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of apartment management experience (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of staff management experience (Required)
- Proficiency in Yardi software (Required)
- Strong knowledge of California property management laws and procedures
- Familiarity with property maintenance, marketing, and insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, delegation, and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation required for travel between properties
