Software Test Engineer - Ensure a qualitive future for Defence training software solutions
The Job
At Systematic, we are expanding the Defence Aspire team in Copenhagen and are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join us and take the important role of ensuring a high level of testing and quality assurance for SitaWare Aspire - our next-generation training platform designed for modern Defence operations. Testing and Quality Assurance happen throughout the entire feature development phase and, with close cooperation with the development team and early test involvement, you will be the guardian of high-quality standards and processes.
In short, some of your key tasks will be to:
- Analyze requirements and needs, design test strategies, test features during each development process phase, participate in risk analysis and estimation sessions, create test cases, and provide input for test automation.
- Test on-premise and cloud solutions.
- Ask all the critical questions in the development process, understand the assignment, establish close cooperation with all stakeholders e.g. developers, product owners, designers, and project managers.
- Ensure that quality is built in from the beginning.
- Participate in all test activities e.g. system test, bug hunt, and integrations tests.

Your Qualifications
Beyond the expected experience that you see below, we put an emphasis on who you are as a person. We hope to meet someone who can communicate well and would like to share thoughts and ideas while, at the same time, contribute to a strong team culture.
- Bachelors or Master’s degree within Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related science fields.
- 1-2 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Foundational knowledge on:
- software design and architecture
- test design techniques
- Jira, Xray and R4J
- Linux CLI, Bash and PowerShell
- Docker
- Git

Moreover, it is an advantage if you have the ISTQB Foundation Certification.
You should expect to be at our headquarters in Aarhus around 20 days a year.
