The Opportunity

Distribution, Australian Steel Products are looking for the next generation of talented and motivated Machine Operators to join the team in Eagle Farm! The Distribution business includes quality brands such as Orrcon Distribution, BlueScope Distribution, Metalcorp and Impact Steel.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll operate processing machinery, for example slitter or shear line to process orders for our customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Machine Operator role, allowing for future career development opportunities. No two days are the same, and full training is provided – so you don’t need to have done this before to succeed!

Day Shift – 6am-2pm, Monday to Friday – have your afternoons free for family, friends, or hobbies and errands.

Afternoon shift - 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday - your days are free to enjoy 

What will you do?

• operate machinery to process orders for our customers 
• safely operating gantry cranes and forklifts to load/unload trucks
• general warehouse duties to keep things running smoothly
• working as part of a friendly, safety-focused team

You’ll be provided with ongoing training and development, giving you the opportunity to progress to within our salary framework.
