We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to lead and elevate our digital presence. Reporting to the Marketing Team Leader, this role sits at the heart of a collaborative Marketing team, within the overall Propositions team, that has delivered measurable impact across engagement, communication, brand awareness and supports commercial performance.
This Digital Marketing role will play a pivotal role in driving our digital experience strategy and execution, lead our website management, and materially contribute to the day-to-day implementation and optimisation of our online presence.
Your goals are to drive broker engagement, and brand/service offering online awareness for a B2B audience of Financial Brokers and our B2B2C customers and turning data into decisions and decisions into better outcomes for our customer and Financial Broker audiences. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, from teams in Ireland and at Royal London Group based in the UK, to deliver results.
Your work will be hands-on, using online platforms and digital processes to maintain the royallondon.ie website, build landing pages, and implement best practice content calendars.

Roles And Responsibilities:
- Online channel management: Drive engagement and brand awareness across RLI’s owned channels, earned channels and paid channels.
- Tactical online content updates: Optimise the Royal London Ireland website (including Broker Centre) for ease of use for brokers, customers, large language monitoring (e.g. ChatGPT, CoPilot etc.) and search engines.
- Strategic content planning: Expand the use of evergreen content (including broker/sales presentations) and campaign templates. Develop a long-term social media and online content calendar aligned with business priorities and seasonal trends. Lead on the production of webinars and videos.
- Martech implementation: Support the rollout and integration of marketing technology platforms (as strategically implemented). Work with Royal London Group colleagues in onboarding tools that enhance automation, analytics, and broker/customer segmentation.
- Internal capability building: Create toolkits and guides for wider marketing team to support consistent and high-quality digital execution for Royal London Ireland.
- Measurement and optimisation: Advance channel and campaign performance tracking and reporting. Use insights to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI across digital channels.
- Serve as an internal digital customer experience expert to make recommendations and steer strategic decisions.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, analysis, and monitoring.
- Brand Building: Ensure brand consistency and positioning across all channels and materials.
Skills And Attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in day-to-day web management and contributing to web marketing initiatives for reputable brands within a complex environment (life insurance/pensions market knowledge preferred).
- Strong track record in content creation and social media growth, especially LinkedIn.
- Proven ability to develop digital marketing strategies that generate measurable impact.
- Solid understanding of SEO, analytics (Google Analytics, HubSpot or similar), and campaign optimisation.
- Experience with UX design best practices, processes, and tools
- Experience using Microsoft 365 Office tools, Adobe suite/Creative Cloud.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Creative with a commercial, results oriented understanding and keen attention to detail
- Collaborative who works well with teams as well as managing solo projects with an ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure; maintains constant awareness of deliverables.
- Happy to work in a hybrid-environment (50% in office requirement).
