About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. This hands-on role is crucial to maintaining smooth order flow, inventory accuracy, and the timely handling of essential spare parts.
You’ll be working across logistics coordination, warehouse management, and spares handling — ensuring our operations run efficiently and safely every day.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments (domestic and international), prepare documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists), and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Carrier Management: Track and manage shipments, proactively communicating any delays or issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including proofs of delivery (PODs) and shipping manifests.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and reduce lead times.
Warehouse Operations
- Material Handling: Unload, inspect, stage, and store incoming materials safely and efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to sales orders or work requests.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling tools (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and effectively.
Inventory & Spares Handling
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Spares Management: Organize, store, and issue spare parts efficiently.
- System Updates: Process all material movements (receipts, transfers, issues) in the ERP system accurately.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in logistics, warehousing, or inventory control.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management principles and ERP system proficiency.
- Logistics Knowledge: Familiarity with domestic and international shipping procedures and trade documentation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
