We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP, Systems Analyst to join our Eagle Managed Services (EMS) team. This role is located in Australia (Sydney).

Eagle Managed Services (EMS) is part of BNY Data and Analytics Solutions who work closely with a client’s front office, delivering services through the Eagle platform. EMS provides development and support for investment performance analysis, business operations for data management, data stewarding of job execution and workflows, data enrichment, and a wide variety of information delivery to clients and their external partners. The candidate will provide a systems/technical analysis role within EMS.  S/he works collaboratively with EMS analysts, developers, delivery managers, and EMS Operations teams as well as with a variety of teams within the BNY Data and Analytics Solutions business to clearly define systems, business, and functional requirements to support the design and overall delivery of solutions to our clients.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Working in partnership with the client and internal BNY organizations in defining business and functional requirements to ensure high quality delivery of functionality
• Providing Level 2 support to EMS business analysts, delivery managers, and EMS Operations teams
• Working within the overall product vision, key objectives, strategies, sponsorship, and priorities consistent with contractual obligations, regulatory changes, and product requirements
• Contributing to the overall usability, sustainability, and acceptance of solutions and services provided by BNY Data and Analytics Solutions 
• Identifying, recommending, and continually improving solutions, processes, and integration points of the Eagle platform
• Leading, managing, and communicating project status to stakeholders 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• 5+ year's relevant work experience in a Systems or Technical Analysis capacity for investment accounting or related financial applications; Focus on integration, information delivery, or BI tools preferred
• Experience with the Eagle platform (STAR, PACE, Performance, Message Center and Reference Data Center) is preferred, but not required
• Requires knowledge of financial instruments, the investment process, portfolio structure, and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with a developer-like mind set
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL and database skills; Oracle required
• Experience with Snowflake or Azure is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in using the JIRA and Confluence
• Good SDLC practices, agile scrum experience preferred
• Articulate with excellent oral and written skills
• Good project management practices
• Experience with clients and production support is a plus
• Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
