We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect / Release Manager with deep expertise in SAP to architect and manage scalable data solutions for our project. This role will lead the end-to-end development of data pipelines. The ideal candidate will drive best practices in data modeling, workflows, and data quality, ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient data architectures and mentor junior developers. Experience with SAP BW/4HANA and SAC are essential. Strong communication and leadership skills are critical to delivering high-impact data solutions in a dynamic environment. The SAP Data Architect / Release Manager is responsible for leading the complex business and system analysis, design, coding, and testing.
Responsibilities Include:
- Own overall SAP Analytics data architecture, integration, and modelling strategy.
- Conduct translation of business area customer information into detailed enterprise application design
- Interact with SAP Functional Consultants and client team members to perform analysis of alternatives and provide recommendations
- Design and implement data flows between S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAC, and other platforms
- Lead the technical design of CDS views, OData services, and hybrid modelling (BW & SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Define release management processes for analytics objects, transports, and CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor technical teams and review deliverables for performance, scalability, and security compliance
- Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA, Data Warehouse, or SAP Analytics architecture
- Strong expertise in SAC, BW modelling, ABAP for data extraction/enhancements
- Deep understanding of data integration tools (SLT, SDI, BODS) and non-SAP connectors
- Hands-on experience with release/change management tools such as ChaRM, Solution Manager, CTS+
- Familiarity with cloud data lakes (Azure, AWS, GCP) and security best practices
- Extensive experience in SAP project management, demonstrating a deep understanding of SAP solutions and their implementation
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizens)
- Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
