Job Role Scope:

The Sales Director for EMEA will be responsible for maximising the adoption and growth of Creo Medical’s products across the EMEA territories. Ideally based in the EU, this role will be working collaboratively with the regional distribution partners and internal stakeholders, you will lead efforts to accelerate, scale, and optimize our sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.

This is a strategic, field-based role requiring a balance of commercial acumen, operational execution, and strong leadership. You will ensure the necessary infrastructure, sales support, logistics, service, and training is in place to support a growing customer base. The role is central to advancing Creo’s mission of improving patient outcomes through safe, effective, and innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute the EMEA sales strategy in alignment with global objectives to achieve sales targets and business growth goals.
  • Formulate long-term strategic plans to develop sales that may impact financial and physical resources.
  • Work with the wider Creo Commercial Team and leadership to monitor, evaluate, and develop Sales Operations across EMEA.

Distributor Management

  • Build, manage, and optimize relationships with regional distribution partners to ensure consistent performance, compliance, and effective market coverage.
  • Liaise and network with EMEA-based professional societies and key stakeholders to support the introduction of next-generation products.

Market Development

  • Identify and prioritize commercial opportunities, assess market potential, and drive market penetration strategies across key EMEA territories.
  • Support activities related to Creo’s product portfolio and relevant clinical procedures within the region.

Clinical Collaboration

  • Partner with the clinical and medical affairs teams to promote safe and effective adoption of Creo technologies.
  • Support customer training, education, and proctoring initiatives to enhance clinical capability and patient safety.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure efficient sales operations, order fulfillment, and post-sale service support by coordinating with internal teams (Customer Service, Logistics, Regulatory, and Finance).
  • Manage resources and budgets allocated for Sales Operations in EMEA, ensuring effective use and ROI.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and procedures.

Performance & Reporting

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance analyses, and business reports to senior leadership.
  • Develop business sales plans and performance metrics in collaboration with the Chief Commercial Officer and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead project implementation including ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and adjustment of strategies.

Representation & Advocacy

  • Represent Creo Medical at conferences, trade shows, and clinical events across the region to enhance brand visibility and build strong relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating Creo’s commitment to clinical excellence and innovation.

Professional Development

  • Maintain continuing professional and personal development, staying abreast of industry innovations, emerging technologies, and competitive trends.

Key Skills, Behaviors, Competencies, and Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in medical devices, with both commercial and service leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven success in sales leadership across multiple EMEA markets, with a track record of delivering growth.
  • Strong background in endoscopy or surgical environments, with understanding of procedures, terminology, and evolving healthcare trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into actionable sales and operational plans.
  • Experience leading cross-regional, cross-functional teams and collaborating with clinicians, engineers, and commercial partners.
  • High degree of technical literacy with the ability to present complex clinical and technological concepts in clear, simple terms.
  • Interest in and adaptability to new technologies and innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to act on your feet and work under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation, proactive mindset, and sense of urgency to deliver results.
  • Excellent organisational skills with high accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable but not required.
  • Formal training or certification in Sales Leadership, Commercial Strategy, or Healthcare Management is an advantage.

  • Willingness to undertake any additional duties reasonably required, commensurate with the post’s position within the organization

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet business and customer needs.
  • Must hold a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Must have unrestricted right to work in the applicable region.
