This role supports HR matters and projects across Solterra, Warakirri Cropping, and Warakirri Asset Management.

As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR team through the delivery of HR services and projects. Working closely with the Head of HR (your new manager), HR Business Partner, and Talent Acquisition Lead, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth experience for our people. You will gain exposure to a wide range of HR activities, from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, engagement, and reporting, across both farm and corporate environments.

You will join a supportive, dynamic, and ambitious HR team that values collaboration and curiosity. We enjoy exploring new lunch spots together and continue to debate who has the best coffee café.

We offer hybrid working arrangements, with 2 days in the office and 3 from home.

Job Description

What does an HR Coordinator at Warakirri Asset Management do?

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding, including contracts, checks, and induction coordination
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, and process employee changes and variations
  • Be the first point of contact for employee queries and HR system support
  • Support HR cycles such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and pay reviews
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and compliance documentation, including audits and WGEA reporting
  • Coordinate wellbeing and engagement initiatives across teams and locations
  • Provide support for HR projects and learning and development initiatives
  • Work collaboratively across Warakirri Cropping, Solterra Agriculture, and Warakirri Asset Management

Qualifications

Do you recognise yourself in the following statements?

  • One to three years’ experience in an HR administration or coordinator position
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
  • Proficient with HRIS and MS Office systems, we use ELMO as HRIS and SmartRecruiters as ATS. However, it's totally fine it you haven't used those specific systems yet
  • Understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute
