We are looking for an Installation Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Team based in Madrid.
The Procurement Specialist supports, develops and executes Procurement plans closely together with local operations. He/She identifies local opportunities, manages supplier relationships and tenders, including contract negotiations and price analysis, with the aim of optimizing costs and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning & Execution: Develop and implement procurement plans in alignment with local operational needs and global objectives.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Identify opportunities, manage relationships, and oversee tenders, ensuring competitive and transparent processes.
- Negotiations & Cost Optimization: Conduct contract negotiations and perform price analyses to optimize costs and reduce risks while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Strategy & Project Leadership: Lead or support the rollout of local and global procurement strategies and projects.
- Procurement Management: Lead the procurement and operational management of Installation Subcontracting category, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, value-oriented solutions and alignment with business needs.
- Installation price list management: Negotiation and updating of prices with strategic and preferred subcontractors, in line with company policies and saving objectives.
- Framework agreement management: Drafting, negotiation, and updating of framework contracts, in synergy with the legal team and involved functions.
- Economic analysis: Monitoring of spend, analysis of installation costs, and identification of optimization opportunities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Constant interaction with internal stakeholders (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Legal, Finance) to ensure an integrated approach and compliance with company policies.
- Frontline interface: Management of relationships with colleagues from different frontlines to ensure consistency and alignment in installation activities at area level.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in economics or related fields
- Professional Experience: 3-4 or more years of working into a matrix and international organization
- Languages: fluency in Spanish and English is essential; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Procurement Expertise: knowledge of the Installation Subcontracting procurement categories.
- Teamwork: ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, team oriented-environment.
- Digital Proficiency: proficiency in IT tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, other MS Office suite applications, SAP)
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in economics or related fields
- Professional Experience: 3-4 or more years of working into a matrix and international organization
- Languages: fluency in Spanish and English is essential; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Procurement Expertise: knowledge of the Installation Subcontracting procurement categories.
- Teamwork: ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, team oriented-environment.
