Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team and work on a large-scale Vue and AEM-based project. The setup is monolithic and complex — so you’ll need to be comfortable navigating mature architectures, making pragmatic decisions, and keeping performance, maintainability, and security in focus.
You’ll work closely with other frontend engineers, backend engineers, designers, and project managers — contributing to scalable, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences used by thousands of users.
Your Role
You’re a structured, detail-oriented, and curious engineer who cares deeply about code quality, design implementation, and collaboration. You have a strong eye for detail, take pride in translating designs into polished interfaces, and continuously look for ways to optimize your own performance — including through AI-assisted workflows.
You stay on top of modern frontend developments and enjoy solving challenges in complex environments. You’re comfortable taking ownership, reviewing peers’ code, and writing secure, maintainable solutions that stand the test of time.
Your Qualifications
- Solid professional experience in frontend development, in the Vue.js and TypeScript space.
- Comfortable working in both tightly coupled architectures and composable setups with headless frontends. For the current project experience with AEM and Spring templating is a big plus.
- Strong understanding of scalability, maintainability, testability, and security (OWASP principles).
- Well-versed in performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and UI implementation.
- Experienced in reviewing peers’ pull requests and maintaining high code standards in Git-based workflows.
- Familiar with automated testing and confident writing unit and integration tests.
- Curious about new technologies — including using AI to improve productivity and development quality.
- Experience with headless architectures or CMS platforms such as Umbraco, Sitecore, Shopify, or Optimizely is an advantage.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with Atomic Design principles or Storybook-driven component development.
Tech & tools you’ll likely touch
Vue.js, TypeScript, AEM, SCSS, Nuxt.js (headless), JavaScript build tooling, Storybook, performance auditing, automated testing frameworks, accessibility testing.
Benefits:
- A nice pension scheme + health insurance
- Weekly Friday bars (yup, your weekend buzz is on us!)
- Daily-cious breakfast and lunch from our in-house chefs
- An unlimited amount of coffee, tea and supportive colleagues
- Wine tasting club, running club, game nights, grand parties, fun events
We have employees who've stayed with us for 5, 10, 15, and even 20 years! There's room for you to be yourself, including dressing however you like.
