A mechanical engineer who consistently strives to deliver results by understanding immediate issues, recognizing short-term opportunities, meeting customer needs, engaging with and supporting colleagues. Additionally strong applying strong functional knowledge within their area of expertise and actively using knowledge in a broader context.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize control strategies for BMS and mechanical facility equipment (LEAN and Continuous Improvement Programs).
- Lead root cause analyses, solve issues, and implement sustainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with partners to align current production platforms with future roadmaps and customer needs.
- Drive improvement and capability-building initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation.
- Foster effective risk control and information exchange among teams.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and support training on new equipment.
- Communicate and report technical findings clearly and effectively.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree (masters preferred) or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent functional expertise and knowledge.
- Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and mechanical system design.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences in both English and Spanish.
- Critical thinking with a strong sense of initiative, accountability, and problem-solving abilities that span across different functions.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical facility design i.e. cooling, heating, compressed air and ventilation.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, tolerances, and quality control standards.
- Familiar with BMS design, industrial installations, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated success working in global, cross-disciplinary environments.
