Job Description
IFS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Specialist for a fixed-term, one-year substitution role beginning January 1, 2026, based in Asker, Norway. Reporting to the Marketing Director, Nordics, the successful candidate will plan, execute, and optimize comprehensive marketing campaigns aligned with IFS’s business objectives in the Nordic region.
Key Tasks
- Develop and implement campaigns and activities within IFS’s focus industries to generate new qualified leads and support Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
- Drive demand generation by creating and managing the marketing funnel, focusing on acquiring new customers and developing opportunities through all sales stages.
- Develop, own, and execute industry-specific marketing plans in the Nordic region, including organization of events, webinars, email marketing programs and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the central marketing team to design industry campaigns and ensure their localization and effective execution in the Nordics.
- Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activities and results, utilizing analytics to drive actionable insights and continuous improvement.
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments, ensuring that all activities utilise the right channels and deliver compelling, timely messaging.
- Oversee budget planning and forecasting, with a focus on achieving strong return on investment and compliance with IFS’s financial standards.
- Supervise the production, delivery, and development of sales, marketing and communication materials, managing relationships with both internal and external agencies.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of hands-on history in a business-to-business (B2B) marketing environment, preferably within the software, manufacturing, service, or energy sectors.
- Proven expertise in digital marketing and familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as Hubspot, Demandbase and LinkedIn will be considered a strong asset.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to campaign optimization, monitoring performance metrics, and generating actionable reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Proven history in developing and localizing global marketing campaigns for regional relevance.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with central and regional teams.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian required; other Nordic languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of IFS Cloud or other enterprise software solutions is an advantage.
