Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Engineer to design and deliver innovative, secure, and compliant Google Cloud solutions for U.S. Public Sector, Department of Defense, and National Security clients. This position will be a hybrid role based out of Herndon, VA. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Architecting, designing, and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performing Google Cloud solutions that align with client requirements and government security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Developing and deploying full-stack applications, APIs, and microservices using modern programming languages and frameworks on GCP.
- Designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics solutions using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Cloud AI/ML platforms.
- Ensuring all solutions adhere to stringent security protocols, compliance frameworks, and government regulations applicable to Public Sector, DoD, and National Security clients.
- Implementing and managing cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) to ensure consistency, repeatability, and automation.
- Establishing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management on GCP.
- Working closely with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical issues, optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
- Staying abreast of the latest Google Cloud technologies, industry trends, and security best practices, advocating for their appropriate adoption.
- B.A. or B.S. Information Security, Computer Science or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in Full-Stack Development
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Science
- Demonstrated proficiency with core Google Cloud services (e.g., Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, VPC, Cloud IAM, Stackdriver)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance
- Google Cloud Professional Certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and advanced threat detection in cloud environments.
