Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.

About This Role:

The role is a part of the Global Marketing team in GSSO. Within GSSO, the Global Marketing team designs digital and in-person marketing programs to help prospective customers understand how Gartner’s insights, advice, and tools can help them achieve the mission critical priorities that drive organizational performance. The team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling experiences across the buyer journey.

We are looking for a Specialist in Digital Media, the ideal candidate would be someone familiar with all elements of Search engine/Social Media, paid marketing at an operational level and looking to add value through developing strategy and helping the business grow faster by ensuring flawless execution.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the management of all paid search campaigns Keyword research, Developing ad copy, Engine selection & budget allocation, Landing page creation & optimization, CPC and bid management, Overall account strategy, Leverage web analytics data to understand conversions and ROI, while improving campaigns, Campaign performance reporting
  • Work with key stakeholders (Corporate Marketing, Conference Marketing and Communications) in planning and setup of all paid campaigns.
  • Create and deliver campaign plans/presentations and share with stakeholders to measure the campaign performance and conducting market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
  • Understand different business offerings, audience & optimize the campaign accordingly to achieve business goals and review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Monitor advertising budget and increase ROI, conversion performance through recommendations of new strategies & ideas. Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (LinkedIn, FB, Twitter, Google Search, Google Display, Bing)
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs & also fulfill company’s goals for traffic growth, user engagement, and lead generation via search/social media marketing.
  • Liaise with Marketing Analytics team to track, analyze, and report digital content performance as well as user behaviors to inform ongoing content and channel prioritization and assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Develop dedicated web landing pages for all paid campaigns.
  • Grow and optimize our keywords portfolio through testing (A/​B and Multivariate) with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywords, etc.​
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, strategies and latest developments in paid search and contribute to the knowledge base of other marketing team members as well as sharing results with key stakeholders and executives. 
  • Develop near and long-term PPC account strategies, roadmaps and execute day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion
  • Stay current with new advances in online marketing, competitive landscape, and keyword research and evaluating the latest paid media tools.
  • Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization and perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success

What You’Ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Masters or advanced degree a plus
  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience, with a significant part of that being hands-on experience with campaigns on search, display, social-media and email. A strong grasp of the nuances of each channel.
  • Hands-on knowledge and proven track record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint. ​
  • "Best Practices" knowledge of Search Engine Marketing tactics and guidelines preferred.
  • Must have experience with Cost per Click advertising networks which include, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, bidding strategies, conversion set up and tracking.
  • Should be master of search ads and more advanced techniques like search-based retargeting, ad extensions, etc.
  • Working knowledge on Data Management Platforms will be a plus with an understanding of HTML
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (Digital Marketing such as SEO/Social media/Google search, Display, YouTube, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.) and market research methods
  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to select keywords, write compelling ad copy and optimize campaigns to meet established ROI goals and conversion metrics.
  • Experience operating A/B testing on Ad copy & landing pages.
  • Ability to analyze data through web analytics and possess strong knowledge of Google Analytics will be preferred.
