You’re unique, and we value that. As a Product Owner, we’ll call on your unique talents, skills, expertise, and experience to:
- Translate complex technical requirements, from government and industry partners, into clear product design specifications;
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with government, regulatory, legislative and partner mandates;
- Collaborate closely with architecture, UX and product to build software users love;
- Plan and drive the development of third-party integrations;
- Analyse the market and gather feedback from government, industry and the primary healthcare space to better define a roadmap for API and third-party integrations;
- Use your uncanny ability to discover, distil and distribute the details;
- Optimise our workflows and improve User Experience across our product suite;
- Facilitate effective stakeholder management, creating positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives;
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences and partner forums, sharing insights, gathering feedback and participating in co-design and product feedback opportunities;
- Undertake software analysis and design;
- Undertake team backlog and iteration planning;
- Support the product planning processes.
We believe our ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
- 2+ Years in a Product Owner, Technical Analyst and/or Business Analyst position, working on technology-centric projects;
- Experience with FHIR, REST API’s, Microsoft SQL is desirable;
- Ability to identify opportunities and risks, as well as problems, inefficiencies and inconsistencies, and propose solutions that drive demonstrable improvements;
- Experience reviewing and translating technical specifications into user requirements;
- Be an open book, sharing your knowledge and ideas to help grow our customers and our teams;
- High order skills in written and verbal communications, reasoning, judgement, strategic and analytical thinking and inquisitive questioning;
- Top shelf skills in MS Office and experience with tools generally used in product delivery;
- Passion for making our customers' product experience as amazing as possible;
- Post-secondary qualifications in IT;
- Previous experience working in Australian Healthcare;
- Flexibility to travel locally and domestically when safe to do so.
