Strategic Account Executive
Market: Bergen County, Essex County, Passaic County, New Jersey region. Candidate must live in the region for consideration since most clients are geographically located and require in-person visits.
Compensation: Base Salary + Uncapped Commission, benefits, expenses, unlimited vacation, and more.
Position Details
We are currently looking for an innovative and experienced Account Executive with proven success in managing, selling, and executing strategic objectives to exceed local advertising revenue goals. The ideal candidate possesses a strong business development background utilizing a consultative and strategic sales approach. You will need to prospect qualified candidates, consult to identify growth opportunities, and deliver a compelling marketing strategy with a comprehensive portfolio that includes print, traditional media, and digital solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth through new accounts and upselling existing accounts. In this role you will conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations and proposals.
The Account Executive at LOCALiQ is responsible for driving advertising revenue by developing and maintaining strong client relationships, managing advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their marketing needs and objectives.
• Develop and present strategic marketing solutions across print, traditional, and digital channels using LOCALiQ’s suite of products.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale support.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers, and Optimizers to deliver campaign performance and client satisfaction.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates and insights to clients.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Required Qualifications
• Experience calling on key strategic verticals for example: healthcare, education, finance, consumer package goods, etc is preferred.
• Ability to craft integrated marketing strategies tailored to vertical-specific needs.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in advertising sales or account management, with a strong background in both traditional and digital media.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms including SEO, SEM, social media, and programmatic advertising.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience with CRM tool (Daily use required).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Vehicle insurance is required (at least minimum insurance required for the state in which the employee works).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $55,000 and $60,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
