As a Group Engineering Manager you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and monetization of Microsoft 365 Copilot through Product-Led Growth methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of product development, user experience, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Proven track record of building & shipping large scale enterprise software products or highly available and reliable cloud services.
- History of building solid relationships with product management and design at the working team and leadership level.
- Guides partnership with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical lead) to determine user requirements within and across teams.
- Guides team and leads identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
- Optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
- Guides team to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers).
- Guides team and act as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and monitors other engineers across product lines, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
- Leads product development and scaling to customer requirements and applies best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations and holds accountability for products that do not meet expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to directly manage a team of EMs and SWEs to achieve results, strategic thinking, and grow careers.
- Experience at many layers of the tech stack (native, web, service, UX, model, data).
- Experience with existing M365 foundational technologies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years people management experience.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years people management experience.
- 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
- 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g.,. competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
