Overview
TITAN Group is seeking a talented and motivated Digital Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT/Digital team at TITAN Headquarters in Athens, Greece.
In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud services and computing environments to ensure continuous, high-performance IT operations. As part of our ongoing digital transformation, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support cloud migration efforts, and enhance our cloud infrastructure, helping to drive innovation and business success.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and maintaining the integration architecture and ensuring alignment with IT/Digital and business strategies.
- Collaborating on the design and implementation of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans to meet agreed SLAs for critical applications and services.
- Assisting in cloud migration initiatives and evaluating their impact on infrastructure, networks, and security.
- Engaging in ongoing improvement activities, such as technology reviews, root cause analysis, and cloud portfolio reviews, to maintain optimal cloud environments.
- Partnering with Data Scientist teams to support Big Data analysis, data processing, and reporting on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Collaborating with IT Security Teams to ensure cloud infrastructure security and assisting with operational activities like log reviews.
- Supporting the integration and optimization of cloud-based platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365).
- Managing and optimizing physical and virtual environments for Windows and Linux servers, backups, and operating systems.
- Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure documentation and working closely with vendors and consultants for service improvements and technology optimizations.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and other Cloud platforms and 5 to 7 years of total experience.
- Proven expertise in configuring and using PaaS offerings (e.g., WebApp, Azure Database services, Azure Kubernetes, Azure DataBricks).
- Experience in cloud migration, managing workloads across multiple clouds.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based delivery models and security practices, including access control, data loss prevention, and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure policies and cloud security controls.
- Familiarity with Linux in enterprise environments (e.g., SUSE, RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Possessing a certification as a Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) is highly desirable.
