About the team and the role
We are looking for a driven, hands-on Performance Marketing Specialist to join our high-performing team responsible for delivering revenue outcomes for one of Sydney Airport’s key assets. In this role you will be on the tools – launching, optimising, reporting and conducting AB tests across key performance channels. You’re a Google Ads/Bing wizz and know your way around Meta and programmatic DSPs. Affiliates experience is also highly regarded.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to
- Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel performance marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, SEM) to drive revenue and booking conversions for Sydney Airport’s parking assets.
- Manage daily campaign operations including bidding, budgeting, ad copywriting, A/B testing, and performance monitoring to maximise ROAS.
- Create compelling ad copy and creative assets, while actively tracking competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Support affiliate and co-operative partner campaigns in collaboration with the Performance Marketing Manager.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and the Senior Digital Optimisation Manager to align media strategies with business goals and audience targeting.
- Own a test-and-learn roadmap, driving continuous optimisation and performance improvements across media channels.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, or related field, or equivalent work experience with relevant coursework.
- 3+ years’ experience in a hands-on performance digital marketing role.
- Proficient in Google Ads, Bing, Meta, programmatic DSPs, and Google Analytics 4; confident in using reporting tools to optimise campaign performance.
- Experience in affiliate/partnership marketing and copywriting, with bonus skills in graphic design tools (Photoshop, XD, Canva).
- Industry experience in travel, infrastructure, or aviation is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and highly organised with attention to detail.
