Role Overview

As the Account Executive on our Ads demand team in Taiwan you will be responsible for sales and account management driving growth of advertisers on our platform in Taiwan. In this role, you will build relationships and manage our mid market accounts to drive revenue growth through innovative media solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the start of our ads group launch in Taiwan and make a significant impact on Coupang’s growth in Taiwan and seller success.

What You Will Do 

• As an Advertising Account Executive, you will conduct sales activities that drive advertising revenue and customer success for top TW-based sellers that sell and advertise their products on Coupang global websites
• You will own the advertising customer experience and  advocate on your customers’ behalf
• Your day to day activities will include direct customer outreach, sales, education, and objection and escalation handling; including face to face presentations, video conferencing, and telephone sales
• You can expect to work closely with the marketing and product teams on advertiser communication plans related to new feature launches and program changes.
• This is a critical role and your efforts will drive advertiser commitment, revenue growth and product improvements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of  5  years  professional selling or digital advertising experience
• Experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
• Relationship sales and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving passion and customer service orientation
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing the ability to dive deep
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other field
• E-commerce background, preferably with experience in e-commerce advertising
• Experience using analytical, sales, and productivity tools including SalesForce and Excel
• Track record of successfully scaling advertising business campaigns
• Performance ADs and PPC/DSP experience
• English and/or Korean language proficiency
