Manufacturing Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

Summary
The Technician 2 is responsible for operating all equipment in a clean room environment to produce high quality interference filters on time at a reasonable cost. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, working knowledge of computers, and basic math skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably one that operates 24 hours per day.

Responsibilities
· Operate production line equipment
· Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process
· Assist other departments as needed
· Train new employees as necessary
· Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure efficient use of resources to meet production goals
· Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
· Follow standard procedures and work instructions
· Comply with safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment
· Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area
 

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

• Qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic math skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, and bend over repeatedly
• Available to work any shift, including weekends
