Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities departments, including managing staff, resources, and inventory.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize facilities operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for facility maintenance and improvement projects.
- Monitor and manage department budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity facilities operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and address issues proactively.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to facilities staff to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Additional duties/administration as needed/necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and facility maintenance best practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of basic MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Must possess a sincere dedication to provide an unsurpassed level of owner and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent guest service and hospitality skills.
- Strong problem solving and listening skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Bilingual is a plus – English/Spanish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Gaming License.
