  • Organize, plan and manage the sales aspects of all assigned accounts and markets in a particular region or country in order to optimize sales profitability.
  • Sales focus scope will include :
  • Authorized distributors
  • Key Accounts
  • Aftermarket OE business
  • Service opportunities
  • QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent through experience.
  • SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCES:
  • Good knowledge of the industrial landscape in the area and in the country
  • Relevant foreign languages
  • IT, PC and Computer skills
  • Understanding of many different applications “Every customer is different” and a big variety of products; this requires flexibility and creativity.
  • BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING:
  • Understanding of the company business strategies
  • Profound understanding of customer satisfaction and customer relationships
  • Understanding of the competitiveness of a proposed solution and price
  • Understanding of the profitability of a project
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a sales position

Principal Accountabilities - Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and profit
  • Ensure consistent and profitable sales growth, through the activities of managing, promoting and selling, within the commercial policies of the company
  • Maximize sales and profit generated by Authorized distributors, OE customers and key customers.

Customer relations
• Ensure customer satisfaction through periodic contact, swiftly and professional reaction to requests and complaints, following up of quotations and leads, in order to be the leaders on the market and to lock out the competition

  • Manage the Authorized Distributor program for a specified region/country
  • Ensure customer relationships with existing and potential Authorized Distributors
  • Agree on a growth plan with all Authorized distributors and regularly follow-up on the actions defined on the growth plan
  • Make inventory of the specified region/country to define the need for additional Authorized Distributors
  • Expansion of the market
  • Expand Donaldson presence in the addressable market area through market diversification. Investigate and develop new market sectors where our technology can be applied.
  • Develop large service opportunities.
  • Ensure that potential large service opportunities are actively pursued, and projects are won.
  • Maximize use of existing job tools
  • Use all available job tools to improve efficiency and effectivity of all key responsibilities.
  • Sales analysis
  • Log activities and opportunities in CRM to enable effective sales scheduling, reporting and forecasting.
  • Product development
  • Actively look for OES business and if needed, initiate and support a product request.

○ Create an APD-request
○ Provide all detailed information to enable the Product Management team to develop the requested products


Reporting
• Formulate accurate and timely reporting on activities, market intelligence, issues etc. in order to ensure
