Well, this may be the role for you. Ready to design what's next?
The Country Solution Architect is responsible for product development and maintenance for a portfolio of one or more GlobalView countries. Responsibility is focused on the activities related to technical analysis and design, configuration, and testing. The role uses defined processes to make enhancements and corrections to functionality, based on submitted issues and approved business requirements.
This role requires significant technical expertise of SAP payroll and practical knowledge of GlobalView processes and standards. Over time, this role will also require technical expertise in country-specific topics related to time, HR, and ESS.
As expertise and skills are increased, project assignments will become increasingly large and complex with increasing degrees of latitude. All but entry-level associates in this role are expected to provide technical coaching and consultation to others in the Product Development Team.
This role is expected to function independently based on functional specifications and project assignments and direction coming from one or more sources. The Director – Application Development is the escalation point for any conflicts or imbalances in workload among Architects.
The Architect is expected to manage priorities and work independently. The role is responsible for providing regular status reports regarding open tickets and work following defined processes to internal business partners, typically the senior-level manager (Director – Application Development).
Reporting to the Director – Application Development, the role interacts with a variety of organizational levels in Product and in Implementation, Service, and Support, but primarily, interaction is with peers in the Country Solution Manager role. Specific interaction requirements are driven by the nature of assignments.
