We are looking for a committed and proactive Experienced HR Specialist to join our Administration team within the HR Shared Services Center of ArcelorMittal in Luxembourg. This team plays a central role in delivering high-quality HR administrative services across the organization, supporting a diverse employee population and strengthening the employee experience of our people.
As part of the Human Resources Shared Service Centre of ArcelorMittal in Luxembourg, you will contribute to a wide range of HR processes and help ensure operational excellence in a line with the complex Luxembourg regulatory and legislative environment. This position offers the opportunity to work at the heart of HR operations and to actively drive and take part in the transformation of the department, with the aim to provide the best possible employee experience to our staff.
You will be in relation on a daily basis with the HRBPs across the organization, with the teams of the HRSSC as Payroll, Learning & Development, Recruitment, with the employees and with the other support functions linked to the position or with the local authorities or the ecosystem of partners.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute ideas and participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes and modernizing the department.
- Collaborate on resolving system-related tasks, including testing, upgrades implementation, interface errors and technical bugs.
- Draft and manage employment contracts for all categories of staff.
- Administer various types of employee leave (e.g., maternity, parental, paternity, training).
- Manage immigration and relocation processes
- Prepare official certificates and respond to employee requests and administrative queries.
- Support internal and external reclassification processes from an administrative standpoint.
- Maintain and update the HR database (SAP), ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Drive efficiencies in the day to day operations
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in HR administration in Luxembourg or a similar role with a solid understanding of Luxembourg labor law.
- Proficiency in SAP HR or similar HRIS systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to reflect on your work, challenge existing practices when relevant, and propose thoughtful improvements.
- Team spirit and openness to change, with the ability to contribute constructively to ongoing transformation efforts and challenge the status-quo
- Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels of the organization, internally and externally
- Project management, priorities management, business orientation and quality management approach are additional assets bringing a competitive advantage.
- Digital skills and agility with data and reporting is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluency in French and English is required
- Any other language will be considered as a plus
