About The Role
- The HR Generalist serves international/ remote team members with Rippling as their EOR (Employer of Record) and is responsible for assisting EOR team members and their leaders by responding to inquiries and providing assistance throughout the employee life cycle, related to policies, procedures, benefits, including timekeeping. Support HR managers, facilitate employee relations conversations, conduct investigations, maintain up to date policies, and assist with various HR functions. Coordinate with the onboarding, talent acquisition, and data teams to ensure the HR department is supporting the Firm for continued growth.
- Schedule (Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM EST)
- Pay Rate: $12 USD/hour
What You'Ll Do
- 1. Serve as a point of contact for team members and leaders, addressing HR-related questions regarding policies, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and procedures for countries with international / remote EOR team members.
- 2. Assist in employee relations matters by conducting investigations including interviewing team members, documenting issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
- 3. Serve as a backup for onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes when needed to ensure a seamless team member experience, including facilitation of new hire orientation, review of onboarding materials, and conducting exit interviews.
- 4. Maintain and update records in HRIS system by performing data entry and recordkeeping duties, tracking changes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- 5. Collaborate with HR leadership to implement and support policies, events/programs, initiatives, and best practices that promote a positive workplace culture across the Firm.
- 6. Assist in managing HR compliance for international/remote team members who are Rippling EOR (Employer of Record), specific to country labor laws, including compensable time (work schedules/timekeeping), workplace policies, and Firm guidelines.
- 7. Work with Rippling and Rippling HR Advisors to ensure policy compliance with existing and new international workplace locations.
- 8. Oversee performance management during onboarding and support the annual performance review cycle.
- 9. Support HR team members as needed (culture coordinator, talent acquisition, and training) with HR initiatives related to engagement, staffing, and training.
- 10. Review and process employee claims related to unemployment, workers’ compensation, leave of absence, and accommodations for all international / remote EOR team members.
