What You'Ll Do
- Assess existing IT platforms to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback, analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations. Monitor the usage of platform applications, analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues, working with relevant teams to implement corrective measures.
- Provide technical support and training for end-users, helping them maximize the benefits of Platform applications. May involve on-call support.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Assist in the planning and execution of platform-related projects, providing analytical support and ensuring timelines are met.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to SaaS usage and management, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users to enhance platform utilization and effectiveness.
- Ensure platforms comply with organizational policies and industry regulations, focusing on data security and privacy.
- Implement new operations software packages
All You'Ll Need For Success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related role
- Experience 2+ years of experience in IT analysis or a similar role, with a focus on platform support. Familiarity with specific platforms relevant to the organization
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience with specific IT platforms relevant to the organization (e.g., ERP, CRM, content management systems).
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and agile methodologies.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
- Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional) or project management (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Day-to-day management of IT service platforms, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Experience managing the process of transitioning new or updated services into the live environment, ensuring minimal disruption
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, database management, and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Experience in specified platform support \
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and process improvement.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services for integrating platforms and applications.
- Experience with performance monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Grafana, New Relic).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
