The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Coordinator to lead the Coffs Harbour Production Team based in Coffs Harbour. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
In this hands-on position, you will take the lead in guiding and supporting a team of 15 at our Coffs Harbour branch. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, coordinating schedules, and managing operations and maintenance. Leading by example, you’ll ensure timely delivery of our products to customers while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
What Will You Do?
Leading our production team, you will promote a customer focused culture underpinned with processing accuracy and quality. You will:
- lead and supervise our operations area including product scheduling, machine operation and maintenance
- support and assist your team with daily operations
- identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
- ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
- grow and mentor your team for their continued development and success
