We are looking for a NPI & Manufacturing Demand Planner to lead demand planning for engineering builds across EVT, DVT and PVT stage who will report to the Supply Chain Manager. The NPI & Manufacturing Demand Planner will be a critical partner collaborating Engineering,Program Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing, ensuring builds are executed on time and with full material availability.
The Team
The role will be part of the Supply Chain team at Graphcore. The Graphcore Supply Chain team is part of the Operations group and has members in Bristol and Taiwan. The team is responsible for developing and managing a robust manufacturing subcontract supply chain for Graphcore.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Develop and maintain demand plan for engineering builds and material requirements at NPI stage
- Partner with Engineering and Program Managers to verify engineering requirements and ensure accuracy and quality of the demand plan
- Analyse demand, supply gaps, and material coverage across all build phases
- Collaborate with procurement team to ensure long-lead and critical materials are secured on time
- Deliver material readiness reports to stakeholders, highlighting shortages, risks, and required actions
- Drive process improvements and automation in demand and material planning workflows
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- > 5 years of experience in demand/material planning or NPI operations in high-tech hardware, semiconductors, or electronics.
- Strong knowledge of engineering build cycles (EVT, DVT, PVT)
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven ability to analyse demand, supply risks, and material coverage in dynamic environments
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills under tight deadlines
Desirable
- Experience in the semiconductor, high-tech, or electronics industry
- Good communication skills
- Master-level Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, VBA macros, Power Query, dashboard creation)
- Strong knowledge of engineering build cycles (EVT, DVT, PVT)
