This position is a telecommute position and can be located anywhere within Texas.
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will play a critical role in leading complex IT projects from initiation through delivery while elevating the overall maturity and effectiveness of the Project Management Office (PMO). This role requires an experienced project leader with a proven ability to drive execution excellence, enhance project governance, and mentor other project managers to ensure consistent delivery standards. The SPM will collaborate closely with Operations, Services, Solutions, and Sales teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget — all while reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering the Right Solution, at the Right Time, for the Right Reason.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional IT projects through the full project lifecycle — planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Establish and reinforce best practices for project management processes, documentation, and reporting within the PMO.
- Mentor and coach existing project managers to improve consistency, communication, and delivery execution.
- Partner with department leaders to define project scope, milestones, resource requirements, and success criteria.
- Manage project financials — tracking budgets, forecasting costs, and identifying risks to profitability.
- Ensure alignment between project outcomes and business objectives, escalating risks and dependencies proactively.
- Champion standardized PMO tools and templates for project planning, documentation, and reporting.
- Support the Director of Operations in defining and refining PMO metrics and performance dashboards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- PMP or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 5–10 years of project management experience in IT services, infrastructure, or technology delivery environments.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level projects with multiple stakeholders and complex deliverables.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of project cost management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
