Job Purpose

The Class 3 Driver will transport, deliver, and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment to and from our branches in Calgary and High River to local job sites in a professional, safe and timely manner. This position is Monday to Friday from 7am - 4pm.

What You Will Do...

• Loading, unloading and securing the equipment.
• Local hauling of equipment and supplies.
• Perform daily commercial vehicle inspection with completion of necessary repairs to vehicle to ensure operational safety.
• Learn and demonstrate Customer Service Standards for delivery service.
• Accurately obtain required signatures on rental contracts, pick up and exchange forms.
• Demonstration of proper and safe equipment usage to customers at point of delivery.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager or authorized personnel.
• Complete inspection reports for outgoing and returned equipment, completing log book and trip sheets meeting all Transport Canada and company record keeping requirements.
• Exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• MUST have 2 years' experience hauling heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators and various aerial lift equipment.
• Ability to operate a tandem axel rollback recovery style truck.
• Ability to load and offload heavy equipment.
• Team Oriented.
• Excellent communication skills. Valid Class 3 license.
• Recent abstract will be required.

Pay Range: $2729/hr
