Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join our marketing team in Toronto or Vancouver.
What Your Team Does:
The Marketing Operations team is a center of operational excellence on Clio’s marketing team. This centralized function oversees campaign operations, database and segmentation management, reporting and insights, email marketing, go-to-market and lead funnel infrastructure, process engineering and tech stack management. We build best in class campaigns, processes, and automations that empower a high performing marketing team. This individual contributor role reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations and collaborates closely with the RevOps, SalesOps, and Marketing teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives. This role will drive meaningful business impact through efficiencies, optimizations, and innovation.
Who You Are:
You are looking to start a career in marketing operations, maybe coming from another discipline in operations or marketing, and are passionate about leveraging data, technology, process, automation, and AI to increase efficiency and impact. You have great attention to detail and are excited about supporting a global marketing team in bringing campaigns to life. You have strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills, and you pride yourself on executing flawless automations at scale.
What You’Ll Work On:
- Building scalable marketing programs, including but not limited to emails, nurtures, webinars, events, direct mail, forms, and content syndication automations.
- Collaborating with a global team (demand generation, product marketing, content, customer marketing, channel partner, and design team) on projects.
- Baking email best practices into your builds.
- Optimizing and building data hygiene, compliance, segmentation, and operational automations.
- Analyzing and sharing insights on campaign performance, database growth, email metrics, and lead funnel.
- Assisting the MarOps team with implementing new technology for the marketing team and documenting processes.
- Supporting the MarOps team in delivering training on marketing tools, reports, and data while helping to drive adoption of SOPs, systems, and tools.
- Executing tasks on time and error-free.
- Keeping task statuses updated and communication flowing on task tickets.
What You Bring:
- Experience building marketing automation programs.
- Experience using a CRM and Marketing Automation Platform.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Basic understanding of webhooks, integrations, and APIs.
Experience Using Excel.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills and strong attention to detail.
Serious Bonus Points If You Have:
- Worked in technology at a SaaS company.
- Experience with Marketo and Salesforce.
- Experience using project management tools like Wrike, Asana, or Trello.
- Experience with HTML and CSS.
- A graduate degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Technology, Operations, Data)

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
