Working in our Group functions you’ll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care not just in the UK but around the globe. Group Functions Technology provides technology services to the Group functions, such as People, Finance and Legal and services are delivered through a product-centric model with a focus on cloud.
The Technology Risk and Compliance Manager will provide assurance and oversight on the Group Functions Technology risk profile. There is always a large amount of change underway within these services and risk governance is essential to ensuring Bupa’s customers and employees are protected, so you will play a key role in keeping us all safe.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Lead in the application of Bupa’s Enterprise Standards and policies within the Group Functions Technology team, challenging where necessary to oversee compliance and effectiveness.
- Embed the Bupa Enterprise Risk Management framework into the day-to-day activities of the Group Functions Technology teams.
- Assess and ensure ownership of any aggregated risks across the domains.
- Define and deliver the technical risk assessment processes within the function, consulting with relevant teams.
- Agree actions with the responsible parties to mitigate any findings from the technical risk assessment and track through to completion.
- Work with the Group-wide Technology Risk team and with the BGIUK risk teams to identify, evaluate and assess evolving Technology threats, opportunities, and best practice.
- Be the point of contact for internal and external audit to support management action plans (MAP) and ensure progress is tracked and managed through to MAP closure.
- Maintain an oversight of the technical risks of the change delivery within the teams.
Skills & Experience needed for this role:
- Strong experience of operational Technical Risk management in a corporate technology services environment, including some management experience.
- Excellent knowledge of methodologies, processes and tools associated with Governance, Risk and Compliance.
- Extensive knowledge and use of Risk Management Frameworks in a corporate technology environment.
- Solid experience of managing risk and compliance for Cloud technology and services.
- Solid experience in the definition and delivery of an RCSA process within a technology environment.
- Experience of managing risk and compliance for third party provided services.
- Good understanding of audit processes and techniques; experience of working with internal and external auditors and of managing the audit process end to end, including MAP tracking and completion.
- Good understanding of ITIL, ISMS, ISO27001, PCI, NIST, COBIT
- Leads with integrity, tact, diplomacy, and collaboration.
