How you’ll help us make health happen
- Handle the assessment of complex and high value claims predominately incurred in Asia (such as Hong Kong, Singapore, China).
- Taking end to end ownership for the resolution of all claims queries within agreed SLAs and quality.
- Managing the uploading and assessment of Customer and Provider claims, including both high value and complex claim.
- Accurately maintaining and updating customer records on the customer management system include payee details.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process by putting forward CX ideas.
- Share knowledge and experience with colleagues, provide training and guidance.
- Take responsibility for your own development e.g. explore how different learning internal and external opportunities can develop personal skills and depth of knowledge according to agreed development objectives.
- Complying with all regulatory and local governance requirements including FCA and Treating Customers Fairly
- Participate in regular 121s and team meetings with your Manager
Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:
- Diploma, Degree holder with relevant insurance experience is an advantage
- Medical qualification is desirable.
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in spoken English and Chinese is essential.
- Proficiency in written English is required.
- Skills & Experience:
- Broad experience of claims assessment / management within the healthcare sector is a strong advantage.
- For less experienced / no experience candidates – eagerness and willingness to learn, absorb and deliver claim management activities will definitely be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in simplifying complex information.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills with cross cultural sensitivity.
- Can performs tasks in effective pace with great quality.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
