Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships and growing market share? We’re looking for a Territory Manager to take charge of our Lower South Island region and lead the way in delivering exceptional service and sales performance.
About The Role:
We’re looking for a Territory Manager to join our team and drive growth across the Lower South Island. In this role, you’ll be responsible for achieving sales and margin targets, managing distributor relationships, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. You’ll play a key part in expanding our market presence, developing product expertise, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strategic territory planning and execution.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Drive sales growth and achieve margin targets across your territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributor partners
- Identify new business opportunities and support the rollout of new initiatives
- Negotiate contracts and conduct regular account reviews
- Deliver product presentations and technical service support to clients
- Manage service schedules, reports, and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to management
- Travel regularly across the Lower South Island (minimum 10 days/month)
What you need to be successful
- 2–3 years of experience in technical sales and servicing
- Tertiary qualification in a technical or commercial field preferred
- Strong business acumen and customer focus
- Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and industry knowledge
- Excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel across the territory
