Job Description
You will work in a team of data-scientists contributing to a service solution based on sensor devices. This solution will provide 360° transparency about the vehicle state and allows detection of incidents or non-compliant behavior. Once such an event has been detected, data from the sensors will be uploaded to the cloud and displayed to fleet operators.
Responsabilities:
- Identifying business problems and solving them by finding data and methods, resulting in measurable business improvements.
- Identifying the most effective solution for a given problem that can range from mathematical/statistical to machine learning or deep learning models.
- Deploy and continuously monitor the solution to ensure business impact.
- In your day to day, you will exchange with other data-scientists, business stakeholders, HW and SW experts, architects and UI designers that will help you delivering valuable and robust solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in mathematics, computer science, physics, software, information-/communication technology or comparable.
- Strong team skills, very good communication skills, goal-oriented.
- Working method: motivated and creative with high analytical skills, product-focused and customer-centric mindset.
- Knowledge in machine learning model development, evaluation and optimization.
- Knowledge of data processing techniques (feature engineering and selection methods).
- Ability to conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies and valuable insights.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software development practices, including version control.
- Proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g. Numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch, etc).
- Interest in working in distributed teams using agile development methods.
- Languages: very good language skills in English (written and spoken).
