What You Will Do:
Product Safety, Certification, and Validation is a dynamic engineering organization focused on the life cycle durability and safety of our products. P&W has established product cybersecurity management practices and processes to address and mitigate cybersecurity threats throughout our product lifecycle.
- PSCV has an immediate need for a Senior Principal Engineer for Product Cybersecurity with demonstrated experience in product cybersecurity governance and risk management.
- The Senior Principal Engineer will work with the Product Cybersecurity Officer (PCO), the P&W Product Safety Officer (PSO) and with RTX PCO and Enterprise Services to effectively manage and mitigate information systems risks that could impact product safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with RTX to establish the Information Security Management Manual to comply with current and future regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the stakeholders to establish the necessary P&W and Approved Organizations (AOs) agreements
- Collaborate with Approve Organizations across P&W locations worldwide and with Enterprise Services to perform information systems risk assessments
- Establish the applicable P&W standard work
- Collaborate with the AOs for regulatory compliance audits
- Function as the liaison between the product cybersecurity and product safety teams to assess information security incidents that could impact product safety and meet reporting obligations
- Perform cybersecurity maturity assessments
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM with 10+ years experience working in product cybersecurity or Master Degree in STEM with 7+ years of experience.
- Background in cybersecurity risk management, security architecture, incident response and aviation safety processes.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Excellent knowledge of security frameworks and standards
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Demonstrated experience in implementing cybersecurity process improvements and transformation initiatives
- Demonstrate reliability, initiative, ability to work across organizational boundaries
- Excellent knowledge of security frameworks and standards
- Cybersecurity process, governance, policies and risk management working knowledge
- Understanding of aviation cybersecurity standards such as EASA Part IS and/or Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
