Purpose of Role: As a Sales Engineer at Weir Minerals Hungary, you will play a key role in expanding our business and ensuring customer satisfaction across the Hungarian market. You’ll be responsible for driving sales of our original and aftermarket products, developing new business opportunities, and supporting technical and commercial excellence in every interaction. Working closely with the regional and service teams, you will help shape Weir’s success through innovative solutions, collaboration, and a strong customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of Weir Minerals’ full portfolio of products and aftermarket solutions within the Hungarian market.
- Grow market share through strategic customer acquisition, retention, and territory development.
- Identify, forecast, and develop new business opportunities, supporting both local and regional growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring outstanding service delivery.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education And Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales role within the mining or heavy industrial sector, with strong commercial acumen and a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in SAP, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and Microsoft Office applications; ability to manage technical documentation and reporting effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across Hungary to support customers and site operations.
