Are you a passionate Sales Account Manager – Wholesale with experience working with wholesale dealers? Would you like to work for an international design company, world renowned for beautiful and affordable products? If so, you might be the person we are looking for as our new Sales Account Manager - Wholesale. You will be joining our International Sales team and will report directly to our Head of Wholesale – Germany & Austria.
About The Job
As our new Sales Account Manager - Wholesale, you will have an exciting opportunity to develop brand awareness, sales activities and strengthen relationships with our wholesale dealers in the Germany. This is a field sales role, for which you will be expected to attend meetings daily, with use of our beautiful showroom as a base but also visiting our (brick-and-mortar) dealers in person.
More specifically, your tasks will include…
- Managing and further developing existing customer relationships through regular visits and consultations - Focus according to the dealership tiering
- Identifying and acquiring new customers in the field of furniture design, particularly in the wholesale sector, among furniture dealers, architects, and plannersThe regions to focus are North Rhine-Westphalia, Hessen, Thüringen, Rhineland-Palatinate
- Presenting our HAY furniture collections to customers on-site, in HAY showrooms and at trade fairs, as well as providing personalized consultation and planning
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions and events to represent the brand, and build new contacts
- Responsible for developing Key Account Retailers for store implementation, styling and maintenance of HAY areas.
- Styling support for Key Account Retailers in dedicated HAY accessories spaces.
- Analyzing the competitive landscape and identifying market opportunities
- Coordinating quotes, orders, and deliveries in close collaboration with internal logistics and production
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue objectives in your sales territory. Pursuing the personal goals, set in the HAY HR tools
- Actively contribute to a well-functioning collaboration across the Germany Wholesale sales team
- Regularly report to the manager on sales figures, activities, goals and market developments

In this role, you’ll need…
- Few years of professional experience within sales ideally with experience working with Wholesale dealers in the furniture industry or a design-oriented field
- A passion for furniture design and a good understanding of trends in the furniture and interior design sector
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including a high advisory competence, and negotiation skills
- An eye for detail as well as the ability to understand customers’ ideas and needs and convert them into competitive solutions in close collaboration
- An independent and structured work style with a high level of self-motivation to prioritize tasks and achieve goals
- High willingness to travel within the specified regions (North Rhine-Westphalia, Hessen, Thüringen, Rhineland-Palatinate). The job consists of 62% traveling/customer appointments
- Fluency in German and English in speaking and writing
- A valid driver's license (Class B) is required
- Proficiency in MS Office and ideally experience with CRM systems
