For the expansion of our EMEA team, argenx is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager responsible for Austria and Switzerland (multiple indications). 

Purpose Of The Function

The Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing argenx's marketing strategy. You will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative marketing campaigns, establishing brand presence, and driving market growth. Your efforts will contribute to increasing awareness, understanding, and adoption of argenx products among healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders throughout different indications. 

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and drive the marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives and local market needs. 
  • Prepare and execute (pre-) launch campaigns across Austria and Switzerland through an omnichannel approach. 
  • Create and oversee the annual marketing business plan, including budget allocation, campaign development, and performance metrics. 
  • Create marketing materials for different stakeholders according to local market needs and in collaboration with country field teams. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional country teams to ensure a consistent and effective go-to-market strategy. 
  • Collaborate, co-create and exchange within EMEA marketing team to have a meaningful impact on argenx overall marketing strategy. 
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities and threats. 
  • Implement and measure marketing campaigns, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjusting strategies as needed. 
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to support marketing initiatives. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. 

Skills And Competencies

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, with a successful track record in launch readiness and omnichannel promotion. 
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire a high-performing team. 
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans. 
  • Excellent project management, organization, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and insights to make informed decisions. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulations within Austria and Switzerland. 
  • Demonstrated communication skills, within a multi-cultural and multi-lingual global environment.  
  • Is agile and demonstrates adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, trust-building, and resilience. 
  • Derives energy from operating in a dynamic, complex, fast-moving, and frequently changing business environment. 
  • Demonstrable experience with project management, proactive planning, priority setting, and securing alignment. 
  • Strong track record of collaborating with external stakeholders. 
  • Drives toward successful outcomes.  
  • Ambitious, inquisitive naturally, a quick study, with demonstrated eagerness to continuously learn, self-improve and develop. This includes being comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a diverse environment.

Education, Experience

  • University degree in scientific or marketing related subject or equivalent qualification 
  • Minimum 3 years of successful marketing experience in the (bio)-pharmaceuticals industry, preferably within rare diseases or neurology 

Other

  • 40% Travel Required

  • Languages: Fluent in German and English; proficiency in Italian and French is an asset.
