JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Intern – Summer 2026
LOCATION: Capewell Aerial Systems –South Windsor, CT
What You Will Do:
- Gain firsthand experience with the challenges of the aerospace industry and supply chain operations, while contributing to meaningful business improvements.
- Complete operational tasks and project-based work.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Work cooperatively with other employees to meet department and company goals.
- Present your work and learning outcomes to management at the end of the internship.
- This internship also serves as a gateway to full-time employment, and we’re looking for students who are excited about continuing their journey with us after graduation. Full-time employment is not guaranteed and will depend on individual performance during the internship as well as the company’s evolving business needs.
OTHER DUTIES: Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors or management to support departmental and organizational objectives.
This position requires personal protective equipment on the shop floor where all require safety glasses and composite toe safety shoes.
QualificationsEducation, Experience And Skills:
- Enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Passion for supply chain and aerospace manufacturing.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to compile information and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work with deadlines, sense of urgency as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position operates in a typical office environment and requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements may include:

Work Environment:
- Position will work primarily in an office environment with a low noise level but may occasionally have exposure to the production floor with moderate to excessive noise.
- This is a full-time, onsite position.
- The work schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday 7:30AM – 5:00PM and every other Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
