Senior Tax Consultant

Job Description & Summary

A career within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. 

Our Tax team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, manage tax accounting and reporting issues and provide consultancy in various tax related matters. You’ll be assisting in tax consulting engagements. 

What You Will Be Doing

• You will assist a wide range of multinational and local clients with their tax affairs, and help them align their tax strategies with their local and global operations through a multi-disciplinary approach 
• You will build strong relationships with our clients and will benefit from both our powerful worldwide network and internal pool of specialists 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tax solutions aligned with clients’ business goals. 
• Review and supervise the work of junior staff, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables 
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with tax authorities. 
• You will actively participate in the management of cross-border projects and will have active role in drafting deliverables to the client 

What You Will Bring Along

• Bachelor's or master's degree in tax, accounting, finance, business, statistics and or other related field 
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in a professional services firm 
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax laws and regulations 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• You have great attitude, and you are willing to grow in a dynamic environment 
• You have logical and analytical thinking and ability to clearly express your thoughts in writing 
• You have a methodical and organized approach to work, strong analytical skills and good communication skills that you want to utilize at the highest of levels 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both in English and Mongolian 
• Able to coach and mentor junior colleagues
