The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated State Manager to lead our Western Australian operations.

Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for driving operational performance, client satisfaction, team development, and business growth within the state.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen and a genuine passion for building people and business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing operations team.
  • Manage and improve service delivery to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee state-level operations, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support revenue and profit growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and maintain high standards of quality and environmental management.
  • Collaborate with national and regional leadership teams to deliver on SCS Group’s strategic goals.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management or operational leadership position.
  • Proven success in leading teams and managing business operations in a commercial cleaning, service or facilities environment.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Management, or a related discipline (desirable).

Experience in the commercial cleaning, facilities management or security services sectors will be highly regarded.
