As a technical project manager on our team, you will work directly with clients and an integrated, multi-functional team to develop new energetic systems and refine existing systems to counter unique mission sets. You will focus on the full life cycle of projects from initial concept design through testing and eventual deployment. You will be responsible for the proactive identification of project risks, assess quantitative data, develop presentations and dashboards to communicate project status to sponsors, manage project budgets, develop and track detailed schedules, monitor and manage scope change, assess risk and facilitate mitigation plans, and manage stakeholder communications. You Have:

• 8+ years of experience with technical and weapon or energetic system projects, and successfully delivering facility and equipment projects on-time and within budget
• 5+ years of experience in a management role
• Experience with project management and development, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks leading to successful product development
• Experience developing energetic or explosive systems work, resources, quality plans, schedules, and budgets
• Experience executing unique requirements necessary for facility and equipment renovations in an explosives manufacturing environment
• Experience with technical writing and editing
• Knowledge of the Comprehensive Work Approval Process (CWAP)
• Ability to determine client business and technical requirements
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience coordinating with Naval Commands, construction contractors, and other government facilities groups
• Experience writing and interpreting statements of work and subcontracts
• Experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or Power BI
• Experience with risk management

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
