SUMMARY
Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
Remove trash in accordance with established procedures.
Cardboard, wood, and steel recycling.
Keep VPC Port clean and free of debris
Snow removal ang light maintenance issues, such as, clogged toilets, broken broom handles, etc.
Responds to emergency calls for Custodial assistance, as needed.
Report on any mechanical, manual, and/or preventative issues to management in a timely manner.
Maintain bathrooms, break areas, and basic facilities cleanliness.
Maintains inventory, submits supply requests and operates maintenance equipment.
Operates various cleaning equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Sound attendance
Performance of job description and assignment(s) in professional manner
Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Carry up to 50lbs
• Push/pull
• Bend/stoop
• Kneel
• Squat/crouch
• Sit, stand, walk constantly

This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting.
